Sales – Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

Reports to: President-Sales Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for establishing rapport with new customers and nurturing relationships with long-term customers by assisting them in developing solutions to meet their needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Provide immediate response to any sales inquiry from customers or prospects.
  • Discuss features and benefits of products and services offered.
  • Source parts for scope of work and determine labor hours required. • Prepare detailed and descriptive written proposals.
  • Communicate parts sourcing research to procurement.
  • Create customer work order including tasks and parts required.
  • Coordinate with procurement and service to ensure expediency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide follow-up and superior customer service.
  • Efficiently use computers, databases, and software programs to provide fast responses to customers.
  • Sell Preventive Maintenance Contracts.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers to ensure long-term, repeat business.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Industrial/Commercial Generator experience.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Good mechanical knowledge of generators and transfer switches.
  • Computer skills to include use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed scope of work required.
  • Ability to call on customers professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Must work well with others and possess good people skills.
