ROLE SUMMARY: The Parts Manager is responsible for leading the parts department and ensuring efficient management of parts inventory. This role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, overseeing procurement processes, and fostering a high-performance team to deliver exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and organization.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Oversee the procurement of parts, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Train and support team members in best practices for inventory management and customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to align inventory needs with overall company goals
- Assist with invoicing and payment processing to maintain accurate financial records.
- Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in parts management or inventory control preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
